Jiankang Guo（国健康）

Jiankang Guo is a native of Jinan City, Shandong Province. He liked to play with all kinds of knives since childhood. As an adult, he naturally loved the ancient Chinese seal carving art. Not only can he engrave various seals for names, but he is also proficient in the seal carving of Buddha statue seals and portrait seals. A work of JianKang has both form and spirit, and is rich in connotation. It can particularly touch the viewer's heart and leave a deep impression. He is currently a member of Shandong Literature and Art Critics Association, a special art commentator for Beijing Normal University "Contemporary Chinese Art", a special art commentator for Shandong Radio and TV Station "Oriental Painting and Calligraphy", a member of Jinan Writers Association and has created his own a brand "Impressions by Jian Kang".

国健康，山东济南市人，自幼喜欢捣鼓各种刀具，待年长便自然而然地喜爱上中国古老的篆刻艺术。他不仅会刻各种名章和闲章，也会精通佛像印和肖像印的篆刻。健康的肖像印形神兼备，内涵丰富，特别能够打动观者的内心，能给人留下深刻印象。他现为山东省文艺评论家协会会员，北京师范大学《当代中国美术》特约美术评论员，山东广播电视台《东方书画》特约美术评论员，济南市作家协会会员，品牌篆刻《健康印象》持刀人。

《肖像印之作用》

1. 印章最初是信物，起印证作用。和姓名章相比，肖像印因刻治复杂更具有易识别，个性、难临摹、唯一专属的印信特点。
2. 和字章相比盖在书画作品更能增加作品的美感，更能实现书、画、印的珠联合璧、相映成趣，不但能为书画作品增光添色，活跃气氛，更能起到“锦上添花”的视觉效果。
3. 肖像印对于书画家来说，自己的肖像印是不能随便乱盖的，只有那些具有较高艺术价值的作品，和对于收藏者来说值得珍藏的作品，书画家才能加盖上自己的肖像印，以示对收藏者的高度尊重和对自己作品价值的高度肯定。
4. 肖像印不仅对书画名家大家具有很重要的使用价值，对于那些渐渐成长起来的书画家来说也具有印证成长的作用。
5. 肖像印因其独特的艺术性和实用性、价值性，使其具有了一定的收藏作用。

一件好的篆刻作品，在功力、表现形式、思想上都应该有不凡表现。所以那些功力高、样式新、思想深的作品往往都能成为高质量的作品，三者缺一不可，但能做到三者皆精，却绝非易事……
