This mantra is one of the most famous and powerful mantras in Mahayana Buddhism. The first syllable “om” is the original sound of the universe. Mani Padme means “the jewel in the lotus”, and the last syllable “hum” represents returning to oneness, which is the spirit of enlightenment.

This mantra is one of the most famous and powerful mantras in Mahayana Buddhism. The first syllable “om” is the original sound of the universe. Mani Padme means “the jewel in the lotus”, and the last syllable “hum” represents returning to oneness, which is the spirit of enlightenment.
The main characters of this “Om Mani Padme Hum (唵嘛呢叭咪吽-六字大明咒）” Calligraphy artwork are written in Clerical script (隶书 lì shū ). The small characters on the right is my Calligraphy inscription in Semi-cursive script (行书 xíng shū), which tells the creation time (04/2021). The small characters on the the left is my first name ” Yijun ” (奕君）and the left seal is my personal signature seal “Yang Yijun Seal” (杨奕君印) . The right seal is the symbol of “Om” （唵）, which I carved by myself.
PS：This artwork was written from right to left, according to Chinese tradition.
